About Me
My name is Vika, and I’m an artist who loves creating surrealistic art that challenges how we see the human body. I use my own body, my hands, legs, and face, as a canvas to craft illusions, transforming everyday parts into something extraordinary. My goal is to invite viewers to look at the familiar in completely new ways, subtly altering shapes and perspectives to blur the line between reality and imagination.
I work primarily with paint, preferring to keep the process simple yet impactful. Whether I'm using bright, neon colors or more natural tones, the focus is always on the transformation and the story it tells. I believe in letting the art speak for itself, without the need for additional effects.
I often find inspiration in the moment, letting my ideas guide me in how I use different parts of my body. This spontaneous approach brings out unexpected results, giving each piece its own life and meaning. My work is meant to evoke strong emotions and provoke thought, whether it’s through playfully removing fingers or creating entirely new forms.
